• Make sure you know your shoe size, before ordering a pair.
• Find new ways to transition into your powermoves and freezes from your footwork (or downrock). Blindly copying other bboys is looked down upon by the community, so start looking for original moves early.
• Keep your dancing shoes for dancing (if you can afford it). They will obviously wear out faster if it's the only pair you wear.
• Get used to the weight of your new shoes by warming up with toprocks or footwork. Avoid powermoves and crazy freezes until you're well warmed up.
